Renting a photo or podcast studio in Grand Junction
By Ebenezer Marquez, Owner & Producer · Updated October 2026
Everything to know before you book studio time in downtown Grand Junction: price, what's included, and how to plan your session.
What it costs
Our downtown Grand Junction studio is $85 for a half day (4 hours) or $160 for a full day (8 hours). You book and pay online, and there's no hidden setup fee.
What's in the space
- A white cyc wall
- Softboxes and LED lights with stands
- A podcast table, chairs and a sofa
- Rugs and simple set pieces
Good uses for it
- Podcasts and interviews. The table, chairs and lights make filmed podcasts easy.
- Headshots and team photos. Clean background, steady light.
- Product photos and video. A controlled space with no weather and no surprises.
- Casting and auditions. A private room to tape sides.
Half day or full day?
A half day fits a podcast episode, a round of headshots or a short product shoot. Pick a full day if you're shooting several looks, recording more than one episode, or bringing a crew that needs setup and teardown time.
Before you book
- The studio is open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM, by booking. Book at least 48 hours ahead.
- It's at 600 Rood Ave, Suite 101. It's downstairs, and you enter from the alley. You get access details after you book.
- Bring your own camera gear, memory cards and drives.
- Leave 15 to 20 minutes at the start to set up and at the end to reset the room.
